Today was so amazing!!! Greatest day so far! I truly believe that you are the happiest when you are serving! Yesterday I was getting pretty homesick and not feeling well and I just felt miserable and all I wanted to do was go home. But today I was filled with a new light and energy and it was just the best feeling! We did the construction rotation today. They told us that we were going to do construction on 'The Greenhouse'. Of course my first thought when they say greenhouse is a tent full of plants... No. It was an actual GREEN house! Haha I just thought it was funny. :) But anyway so all day long we got in a big line and just passed bricks to each other. We had to get the bricks on the second floor of the house so some people had to chuck those bricks up above there heads for 6 hours... Ouch. Luckily I only had to pass mine two feet away but I did get a pretty bad sunburn from standing in the sun all day. And I don't know what my problem is but I was the only one in the group that remembered to put sunscreen on and I was the ONLY one to get sunburned. Dumb I know... By the time 4 o'clock came around I was EXHAUSTED! But I couldn't have been happier. :) And I couldn't have been more happy for a cool bucket shower in my entire life. :) It was just great. :) And then we got to go to playtime (my absolute favorite) with the kids. There are these 3 boys that I love to see everyday. They are Ruthish, Basha, and Go-Go. :) I Love these kids to death! Today we all sat together and they told me all about there day! Ruthish started singing for me,Go-Go was trying to teach me how to whistle and Basha was telling me about his choir class! I can't even explain how FUN it was to just be with these children! They brighten up my day so much! They even taught me how to say some things in Tamil. So from what I got, Va means to "come", Po means "go". And if you want to call a girl you say Vadi and Podi. But if you want to call a boy you say Vada and Poda. :) Haha it was just so fun! I am so happy to be here with these wonderful people!!! It is so amazing! I wish I would have had my camera more throughout the day but I was having so much fun I forgot! But here are just a few pictures from our day throwing bricks. :)
