Getting and Elephant Blessing!!!

So yesterday was our tourist day and we got to go to this town called Pondicherry. :) It had some cool tourist places and lots of places to shop so it was just fun to look around and see what everything was like. :) We got to go to this temple and inside was and elephant who would bless you! You hand the elephant your offering and it puts its trunk on your head! Haha that was the coolest thing ever! We also went to this other temple where we had to take off our shoes and be very quiet. We walked into this beautiful courtyard with a flower bed laying in the middle of the yard and there were people kneeling down by the flower bed praying and lots of other people just sitting along the outside and meditating. We sat on the outside and just meditated for a while. :) Yeah it was cool and it wasn't until we were on the bus going home that I found out the flower bed was a tomb. 'The Mother' of India's tomb!!! Her and her husband our like the founders of India I guess so it was just so cool to be there and it was so peaceful! I loved it! We did lots of walking around and site seeing and it was just a great day. :)
